SIU 2026 Recent Results Poster Session – Call for Extended Abstracts

The 34rd IEEE Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU 2026) will feature a “Recent Results Poster Session”. This session aims to rapidly review and share recently completed or ongoing original, current, and innovative research with participants.
Topics: All recent results within the main areas of SIU 2026, including but not limited to the following categories, are welcome:

    • Communications and Networks
    • Image Processing and Computer Vision
    • Signal Processing and Applications
  • Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • Biomedical Signal/Image Processing and Applications

Submission Guidelines:

Submission Procedure: Extended abstracts should be uploaded in PDF format via Microsoft CMT at https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/SIU2026/ New users need to create a Microsoft CMT account.

Evaluation and Acceptance Process:

  • Submissions will undergo a rapid review process.
  • Submissions will be evaluated based on novelty, originality, and potential impact.
  • Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters during SIU 2026.

Registration and Presentation Guidelines for Accepted Posters:

  • At least one author must register for each accepted poster. The registration fee for the Recent Results session is for regular registration and for student authors. Registration conditions and scope align with regular and student author registrations for the main conference.
  • Authors of accepted extended abstracts must create and present their posters face-to-face in the poster area.

Important Note: Works presented in the Recent Results Poster Session will NOT be published in the IEEE Xplore digital library. Accepted extended abstracts will be included in the conference booklet distributed to participants.
